Lots of good players returning and coming into X. This was a transition year and while the NIT may not be the ideal tourney, it was a good way to build a little team chemistry going into next season. Should be an improved team! Chin up, X fans!

Missing a few players:

Keonte Kennedy - unlikely to return

Dontarius James - seldom used freshman

Myles Hanson - transfer from Columbia that becomes eligible next year. He was on scholarship at Columbia and was a preferred walk on this year.

Next year will be interesting, Steele went through some growing pains this season, but with the incoming recruits and hopefully a grad transfer or two he will be able to get us back to the dance!

Gotta shoot about a billion ft's over the summer so they become automatic. Group coming back should be very good and experienced. Great recruiting class coming in will help also.

At least a billion...they hit that 2nd FT w 3 secs. Left...they'd still be playing this week.

Xavier just picked up a transfer in Ohio's leading scorer/PF Jason Carter (16.5 ppg).

He actually defended Naji Marshall fairly well when X played Ohio and he scored 17 points.

They're going to be the second best team if Steele can keep it together, it was a really rough start for him.
