In typical SJU fashion, nothing is easy. Last region. Bottom bracket. Just so glad to be invited to the party!

Last freaking team in. No respect for the Big East this year.

St. John's really needs to win that first game. After trashing ASU, and the Pac12, a loss there would sting, and instead of making the middle of our league look strong and deep, it would make it look like we had a bunch of mediocre teams beating each other up. ASU is terrible, can't lose to them.Other than that, I like how the bubble worked out. Much better seeing Temple, and Belmont in, as opposed to NC St., and TCU.

TBF SJU is the bottom of the league not the middle, so anything looks good. Our 7th place team got a bid! lol

Big East is down this year, we knew that, hopefully we get atleast 1 team in the second weekend. Next year, we will be back.

I can live with the Wofford draw, but really don't like having to go through Kentucky again to reach the second weekend. I expect they'll have some extra motivation after the first loss to us.

Agreed. I wish there was a rule against rematches for the first weekend but I guess it’s hard enough trying to fill out the bracket as it is. Really hoping the Hall goes far.

A few notes. First, the regular season and Big East Tourny champs get a 6 seed while Marquette gets a better seed at 5. Seton Hall as a ten is not horrendous, but why put them with Kentucky. They beat them once but beating them a secomd time will be a tall task. Johnnies in the first four is fair. The narrative that the Big East was down this year did trickle into the equation - no doubt. A team like Oklahoma who was 7-11 in conference and 19-13 overall should have come in behind Seton Hall and St. John's - both schools are better.

St. John's is escaping so much criticism. Kinda crazy they haven't gotten more flack for getting in
