Cats need to stay focused and not get caught looking ahead to their real showdown on Sunday

Creighton has not shot or played particularly well offensively anywhere on the road in the BE this year, with too many head scratching, unforced errors. So, major concerns about turnovers, knocking down 3s and inside shots. Probably will be too much for little ol' Creighton to overcome.

gtmoBlue is correct, Wells Fargo Center is Bluejays country. I have been lobbying for a Creighton logo on center court since Creighton joined the Big East. Cats will be very lucky to escape with the W.

I’m worried about both home games this week—almost wish both were away. Philly is swept up in Eagles mania. I do not expect big crowds on either day. If we are going to lose one at home this year, it’s going to be one of these two.

I’m worried about both home games this week—almost wish both were away. Philly is swept up in Eagles mania. I do not expect big crowds on either day. If we are going to lose one at home this year, it’s going to be one of these two.

I'm curious to see how many Hall fans are in the building on Sunday. With a lot of Nova fans having higher priorities that day (Go Eagles!), even a modest group of SHU fans could make themselves heard.

Creighton played well enough to win most games tonight. Villanova, the Champions, played much better-outplayed my guys in every facet of the game. Well done to #1 Villanova. This game was decided by halftime. Congrats to the Champs. Movín' on. Congrat Novachap, Gumby, & Chestrockwell. Helluva team you've got. Success going forward. My guys will rebound on DePaul. Again Congrats - there was no doubt that Villanova is worthy of being #1.

I don't mind losing to a great team, and Nova is one. I think it's embarrassing that Jay keeps his starters in until the last 2 minutes up over 25. CU had put in two non schol. guys and subs w over 6 minutes to go down 20+. Also, Nova just kept on jacking up 3's. The last time we played in this arena , Wragge and D Mac did their damage at the beginning of the game and just pulled back at the end of the game. Perhaps we should have kept them in shooting til the end. I think it showed a lack of class and also he has a chance a starter could get hurt. I know people will say play hard to the end, but when up 25 you maybe want to consider playing those guys that work hard as scout team and give them minutes.
