We Friar fans are understandably excited about AJ's commitment. Not to pass over this coming season, which we hope will be great - with everyone coming back, we're in the process of reloading our roster for 2018 and beyond:

PGs: Makai Ashton-Langford and Malik White
SG: AJ Reeves and Drew Edwards
SF: Alpha Diallo and Isaiah Jackson
PF: Nate Watson;
C: Kalif Young and Dajour Dickens

Still room for several more commits, with David Duke and Akok Akok high on the priority list.

Great pickup Friars! What is the building that was used for the picture with Coach?

That is the on campus gym. Mullaney gym which was renovated in 2012. It is named after Joe Mullaney former friar and pro coach. It was originally Alumni Hall before the renovation.

The Friars played on campus at Mullaney Gym (formerly known as Alumni Hall) through the Spring of 1972, then moved downtown to the Dunk (formerly known as the Providence Civic Center) in late 1972 in our first Final Four year.

The retired jerseys hanging in the background are of Tracy Lis and Doris Burke.

FYI, our opening game later this season will be played at Mullaney vs Houston Baptist, the first time since 72 that it will host a meaningful game in 45 years. (Note that Comic-Con will be hogging the Dunk that weekend, making it unavailable.)
