Syracuse transfer PG Kaleb Joseph to Creighton

Totally out of left field – even the Creighton insiders weren't aware of any connection, but being reported that former top 50 recruit Kaleb Joseph has committed to Creighton. Will have two years of eligibility after sitting this year. Seems next in line to replace Mo Watson.

Wait a second...why would Joseph leave and go to a mid major school in the middle of nowhere in a Tier 2 league?

Nice get Jays. Getting a little worried about the talent you guys are starting to stockpile.

This was a shock to most of us, as we thought the coaches were devoting their attention to a guard from Sacred Heart...I like this pickup, regardless of how Joseph played last season. He's obviously very talented, maybe not a great shooter. He has a year to reset and learn the way we play

The Dagger explains everything, Joseph committed last night and then Broome picked Cincy...we got our top choice.

I've said before, I think Creighton is going to become the Syracuse of the "new" Big East. I'm thinking power conference, good coach and great facilities leading to big time recruiting power. Obviously Kaleb sees the demise of the Cuse and the rise of the Blue Jays.

Well, it is wonderful that the Jays are beginning to reap the recruiting benefits of being in a major conference.
We are getting the talent now. However, as we have seen with other teams...it's one thing to get the talent,
and another to get them to mesh and play as a team. Creighton has work to do, it seems.

Creighton can't be Syracuse. Creighton has respectful players, fans, and a respectful coach, Maybe Syracuse in terms of success, but that's it.

I bet we could learn to be a-holes if that gets us some Syracuse-like runs in March :D First things first, though. Need to translate the recruiting success into Ws.
