Nice thing about Alexander is that he's not just a highly rated guy, he's also a guy who perfectly fits into what Creighton wants to do. He has the shooting range, but is crafty and long and can get to the rim on people. And, he also handles the ball and shares the ball with really nice passing. In a system that's all about finding the great shot instead of the OK shot, he's a key piece for the future.

Not intended as a knock on CU; more just an honest observation:
If Creighton, a small-ish Catholic school in Omaha... can bring a highly rated east coast kid... who grew up and is playing in the heart of the ACC... all the way out to Nebraska... than this little fledgling conference is in better shape than I thought.
Where are the posters who questioned if this conference could recruit at a high level? ***crickets***

We have always tried to make it a point to recruit smart, high character kids. I think for Ty-Shon, it was simply the rational decision. He loved the staff, the team, and the system we run which will heavily feature his 3pt shooting. All that he has said makes it seem like it was a no-brainer for him.

Wow! Tremendous. If I were a top guard aid want to play for Coach Mac. He's got an open system were guards can move freely and create. Sounds like this kid is going to be a stud for you guys. Congrats.

Ty-Shon just shot a 3 at the buzzer to beat Sierra Canyon 49-48 at the buzzer. He goes 5-9 from 3 for team leading 15 points and Oak Hill wins the Bass Pro Tournament on CBS Sports Network. This guy is deadly from 3.
