Holtmann got a second commitment yesterday, 6'2 SG Kamar Baldwin. Rated in Rivals and 247 (133rd, 149th, respectively).

Kid kind of keeps to himself and is very humble. Doesn't even have a Twitter.

Held offers from Providence, VCU, Ole Miss, Clemson, Georgia Tech and others.

4th player in Holtmann's 2016 class. Butler fans are very excited about this class.

Butler is 11th in the country on 24/7 now. They'll be moderately higher and lower on the other services based on whatever variation they have.

@DavidWoods007
#Butler climbs to 11th in recruiting rankings by @247Sports.

(And that doesn't include Kethan Savage who averaged almost 12 per at George Washington)

Does this go down as the best recruiting class Butler has ever had 'on paper'? The Gordon Hayward class was obviously huge for BU but I don't think they were necessarily highly regarded nationally like this one is. Congrats on what looks to be a really talented group either way!

On paper, probably.

There are really only two classes that come close:
1. The 2010 class, which had Marshall and Hopkins (who transferred to Wright State).
2. The 2013 class was pretty highly regarded, but, outside of Chrabascz, it ended up being a complete bust.

Just scored his 2,000th point in high school. He's also coming off back-to-back triple-doubles.

As a Butler fan, it's easy to be excited about this kid.
