Robert smith ‏@rsmith2_robert: Simeon 2015 Wing Isaiah Moss took a unofficial visit to DePaul today#Simeonfamily

Added 4* SF Isaiah Moss for Depaul. Moss blew up this summer expect to see his offers grow along with his ranking. He played in the EYBL circuit for Playground Elite (WI) same team as 4* PG Nick Noskowiak (Marq) & 5* PF Henry Ellerson. I saw him play a few games and liked his versatility at 6'7ish. I believe OP & crew were in earlier than most w/him.

There were plenty of players around Illinois who added offers and improved their stock this summer. But no one in the senior class did more for themselves than the promising and improved 6-5 wing from Simeon....

Since the high school season ended in March, there hasn’t been a player in Illinois from the Class of 2015 who has raised their stock more among college coaches than Moss....Moss quickly went from being a City/Suburban Hoops Report fringe top 20 prospect in the Class of 2015 at the conclusion of his junior season to one that was pushing top 10 status heading into July. And it was only a matter of time before his recruitment would skyrocket.

He then followed it all up with some head-turning performances in the all-important month of July, with college coaches scrambling to catch a glimpse of him before the evaluation period ended. The transformation was complete.

5* SG Malik Beasely stays on the board for SJU but off for Creighton with his new list. Is 8 schools in August really a list tho?

Nova still in the hunt for Jalen Brunson:

Stevenson High (Illinois) rising senior Jalen Brunson is a top-15 recruit and is arguably the top point guard in the Class of 2015.

The five-star floor general narrowed down his list of options to eight back in May. On Tuesday night, Brunson scheduled three of his five official visits. The 6-foot-1 point guard will remain in-state for his first visit, going to Illinois on Aug. 29-31. Brunson will head to Philadelphia the following two weekends, heading to Villanova on Sept. 4-6 and then Temple from Sept. 11-13. Later in the week, Brunson revealed his final two official visits. He will be at Michigan State from Sept. 19-21 followed by a trip to Purdue on Sept. 26-28.

Jalen Brunson is also considering Kansas, Michigan...and UConn.

Updated List. This report was written at the end of his jr year down in New Orleans.
NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune's Flashy 15: Class of 2015 basketball rankings

1. Chad Lott, Byrd, 6-3, G, 185, PR: 2

One of Lott’s most impressive game’s of the season might have come when Byrd lost in overtime to eventual Class 5A champion Natchitoches Central. With the Chiefs defense focused squarely on him, Lott was able to leave the gym with onlookers believing he was still the best player on the court by the way he rebounded, dished out assists and played defense. He finds ways to impact the game even when he can’t do it by scoring, which he did efficiently this season. He averaged 22.8 points, 11.3 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game.
