Yea, I think they were okay. Not a joke, but not a great team either. For instance, they did make the tourney pre-Final Four, but it was out of a weak conference. Also, that Final Four run was the school's first time ever making it to the second round (Im almost certain on that).

One other thing that I dislike about VCU, the fans in particular, is that they act as though they are some super die-hard fan base and they brag about their XX game sellout streak only rivaled by Duke or whatever. A while back I looked up their attendance pre-Shaka, pre-Final Four run and guess what. Yup, average, run of the mill attendance figures--not terrible, but also not even close to selling out.
