Let's edit this 3 star rating as the lead--Another top 150!
From the White and Blue review Gilmore is indeed a top 150 and MORE.

Gilmore is the first verbal commit for the Creighton Bluejays as a member of the Big East Conference. Gilmore is a consensus Top 150 player for the 2014 class. He’s #121 on Rivals.com; a three-star on Scout.com; a four-star on ESPN.com; #74 on Future150.com; and #90 on 247sports.com.

Sounds like a great kid and yes, that Big East name pays dividends!! Starting a little late, but believe the trend will be there. Love the excitement on this board for all the Big East recruits. It will be tough competition but none of us would want it anything else. Go Big East.

Woohoo, I'm glad we can finally contribute a top 150 recruit to the Big East! Leon is huge for Creighton, we are in dire need of some pure athleticism and Leon gives us that to compliment our shooters.

Way to join the party CU! Congrats! When I think your recruiting will really kick in is after this year--when you are on national TV regularly. Kids want to play for programs on TV. It's that simple. When you guys have a packed house this year playing one of the traditional BE powers and the place is rocking, kids will notice. Good luck getting more. We need you guys to be relevant AM (after McDermott), and this is a good start.

Definitely with you on this, Gumby. I want Creighton to be good, because I want Marquette to have a good rival (and I want the BE to be a powerhouse). CU will get there, I have no doubts about it. This is a sign of what's to come. Good recruit.

Its a start! I'm happy to get someone after starting so late.

Also cool that he's outside of the typical Big East footprint (Texas).

We've got two more to go...let's see what happens!
