BIG EAST vs. OTHER POWER CONFERENCES - WOMEN'S HOOPS

In years past I have kept track of the Big East Hoops records against the other power conference teams ( I did it this year for Men's and Women's Soccer). Most outlets are referring to the Power 7 in hoops. They are: Big East, Big Ten, Big XII, Pac-12, SEC, ACC and The American. So this is the group I will be comparing as the season goes on for the Women. There are currently 32 scheduled games between the Big East and the other leagues.

Marquette will start things off when they host Wake Forest on November 9. Hey Administrator - can I get a sticky on this one too?

And the Big East starts off on the right foot. Marquette blows out Wake Forrest 90-71. So for week one we have the following:

vs. ACC: 1-0
vs. Big Ten: 0-0
vs. SEC: 0-0
vs. Big XII: 0-0
vs. Pac-12: 0-0
vs. AAC: 0-0

This week, we have six games against the other power conferences:

11/13: Xavier at Michigan
11/16: Minnesota at Creighton
11/17: California at Georgetown
Kansas at Creighton
Marquette at Vanderbilt
Seton Hall at South Carolina

So we will have some Big Ten, Pac-12, Big XII and SEC action this week.

11/29: Xavier vs. Kansas
Butler vs. Utah
11/30: Marquette vs. Utah
12/1: Oklahoma vs. Creighton
Northwestern vs. DePaul
