Here are the current records:
DePaul 6-0 (1.000)
Butler 6-1 (.857)
Creighton 4-1 (.800)
Xavier 4-2 (.667)
St. John's 4-3 (.571)
Marquette 2-2 (.500)
Georgetown 3-4 (.429)
Villanova 1-4 (.200)
Seton Hall 1-5 (.167)

Obviously there are discrepancies in the levels of competition the various Big East programs are playing, but it looks good that only three squads have losing records. For the record, Providence is 4-3.

#24 Creighton beats Kansas 3-1 after 8 match points in the 3rd set. Nice win especially with the difficult schedule coming up this weekend.

So now that the preseason has finished who has a shot at the NCAA tournament? I think clearly Creighton has a shot. Marquette and Butler have a shot. DePaul might have a shot but I worried their RPI is too low with no way to move up. Xavier losing to Fresno, Irvine and American in Ca killed their chances. I think with the league losses at most we get 2 teams in.

Currently the RPI for Butler is around 64. Do others know what their RPI is approximately?
