Regarding the Closing of our Holy Land of Hoops Site...

Just want to bring to the main threads, the topic of the retirement of this Holy Land of Hoops site.

I just read about this earlier this week. I really appreciate the many years of hard work from Admin Chris of Marquette. This has been an awesome board with respectful and fun contributors.

Amazing to think back to how precarious our situation was back in December of 2012. But it's been a super 12 year run for the Big East.

I wouldnt know the first thing about running this site... kinda like Paulie Cicero in Goodfellas "all i know about restaurants is how to order the meal"...

But if anyone wants to keep it going that would be great. That other site is 95% a football site, and i'm not a fan of the general vibe and baloney over there (CSNBBS or whatever).

Anyway, looking forward to the new season in November, and i will still be here til the lights turn off at the end of this year.

I'm happy to help assist transitioning to a new administrator if someone wants to look into the best way of transferring domain, hosting, etc.

Is this an existing BE forum (dormant for a number of years) that people on this board could migrate to, if no one picks up this board?

Wow talk about a double whammy.

Since Wednesday, there is no redmen.com. I'll give it the weekend to see if it comes back before I start worrying. I'm sure the kids have a busy work schedule during the week.

And 2 days later this news.
