That was a nice touch.

Congrats to our friends at UCONN. Not only did you win it, but you kind of looked like Patton's 3rd Army doing it.

Let's hope Hurley and Company understand how important the Big East has been and will be to their success.

BE with 3 teams in the final Coaches' poll----#1 UConn, #10 Creighton and #11 Marquette. Seton Hall came in at #32. Don't know how anyone could differentiate between Marquette and Creighton. The final rankings were fairly close to preseason. 3 in the top 11 is really good, especially with the National Championship!

UCOnn 1, Marquette 12, and Creighton 13 in the final AP poll(first time AP doing that after the tourney). Seton Hall 32.

Marquette 3 points behind Arizona for 11th.

I still think Jay Wright has the better career overall. But at this pace, when its all said and done, Danny Hurley may likely surpass him.

There was something about Jay Wright that makes him so special though. He was an amazing, well-spoken, great character coach during his entire career. I still think in that sense, Jay Wright will always remain an elite representation of the best College Basketball can offer. He elevated the game for sure. Even now as a commentator, its great to have him, and I wish we had him in the Big East sidelines. What a great guy overall.

With all that said - the Big East is lucky to have so many great coaches throughout its history and present days.

I hope Danny Hurley sticks around for a really long time!
