I can't imagine it's anything other than money. I have no inside knowledge but I just can't imagine Butler has the resources to compete against most high major programs on NIL.

If I were Matta I'd be contemplating my second retirement.

Butler evidently also picked up 6'2" SG Kolby King from Tulane. Maybe Bizjack is trying to slide over to PG?
