Huge road win for the Jays after a couple of really tough losses. Whew.

great timeout by McDermott there to save the possession late.

Now for the big bubble game with Providence and Butler. Butler just made a 3 from the speedway I think....

love how HInkle is so much brighter now than it used to be.

Providence got hosed on that last drive. They guy got fouled by two Butler guys before they actually blocked the ball. Cost Providence the game ( assuming he could make 2 FTs). Just awful no call.

Was badly officiated all around, but y'all fought thru a lot and understand the sore feelings. Take the L and hold your heads high. Congrats to the new father also. ;-)

Not sure what game you were watching, but holy f*** Providence’s Carter gets away with murder. The slapping of arms all game, pushing in the back, several obvious blown out of bounds calls. Butler deserved a no call there.

It's the old stupid logic of refs not wanting to decide games by making foul calls. When by doing that, they're absolutely deciding the game.

Or they didn't call that all game so why the hell would they call it there?

It's become pretty easy to predict nearly every St John's non DePaul game. They'll play you close for 35-37 minutes, regardless of how good you are, then totally fall apart at crunch time with the game on the line. Discouraging to say the least.
