- Great game at Hinkle. Ridiculous non-call. In the end, the two Friars-Dawgs games were so close, it's probably fair that we split.

- Funny if Butler was credited with a "block" cuz they didn't actually touch the ball.

- Pitino probably shouldve kept Posh, and also Storr on Wisconsin.

- Totally true about Creighton getting screwed in Elite 8 in this exact scenario.

- Also, vs K-State in November, Carter got hammered at end of regulation but PC also didnt get a whistle.

- In reality, the Big East has 9 teams that are deserving of NCAA bids. Some of us wont make it, and are gonna have to watch dogsh-t Clemson and Wake running around on March 21st.

Yeah I just was speaking to the Providence fans on the board. ;) Who cares what a CU fans thinks about that game... (But it you look at the screen grabs 0 clearly hits all ball, but it was a bang bang play and the whole game was physical as hell, so can see where it didn't get called.) Hate the old whistle fests but fear running into ACC refs during the tourney after letting these guys beat each other up all BE schedule. ;)

OOC play going to really kill some teams for making the tourney. Xavier losing to Oakland and Delaware and Nova going 0-3 in the Big 5. The exempt tourney for Seton Hall. 2 of those teams going 7-4 OOC and other one 6-5. That just puts you behind the 8 ball really in such a tough conference.

I've accepted the non-call. Macker is right, good point, about there being physical play all game, so this final play was in line with that.

Just want to stress that neither Butler defender touched the ball...

Floyd palmed the ball to try a game winning one-handed hammer dunk.

The Butler guy jumping towards him slammed Floyd's forearm causing the ball to come loose and go forward... split-second later, the second Butler guy hammered Floyd from behind.

The ball hit the rim and popped in the air.

Anyway, great game. Glad we were competitive without Oduro.

Our OOC should be a positive for the conference. Losses to solid K-State and Oklahoma. Wins over Wisconsin and underrated Georgia. I think every other OOC game was a win by double digits.

For BE teams, no way Butler, Nova, Johnnies, X, etc, wouldnt kick the living sh-t out of Clemson or any of the ACC or Big Ten clown schools. F-- Villanova beat UNC.

might be able to beat them, but their regular season record is gonna stop them from getting the chance- especially Xavier, Nova, and Seton Hall. If St John's barely misses- OOC games with Michigan and Boston College will be absolute killers. Providence IMO is in better shape but they can't let down over the final few weeks.

No kidding, although who knows how last spring's conversations went. Also, Addae-Wusu and David Jones at Memphis. Even O'Mar Stanley at Boise and Kolby King at Tulane are averaging 10+ ppg.

Curbelo, on the other hand ...
