Is Seton Hall / Butler the biggest game in the Big East so far this season? (based off of importance of a win)

I’m heading to Providence to catch the Xavier game over the long weekend. First time in rhode island. Any suggestions on unique places to visit are appreciated. Only set plans I have at this point are to go to the basketball game and the Hockey match against BC

It's been a few years since I got my PhD from Brown (50, to be exact), so my information may be a bit dated. But there used to be some great Italian restaurants on Atwells Avenue (Federal Hill), and the Brown campus is gorgeous. My office, in Robinson Hall, looked out at the clock tower on Waterman, just up the hill from RISD (another stellar academic institution).

Here are a couple of things to consider (might be tough to fit in if you are going to both:

1. Pregame at Murphys, right near the AMP. They actually open at 9:00am on the weekend.

2. If you can fit in lunch before the game, head over to Federal Hill Atwells Ave. There are no bad spots. Massimo and Andinos are my favorites

3. Pre and post game for hockey is the Bradley Cafe. This is a block from the rink.

Enjoy!

i agree with X man and EMT.

Federal Hill is just over I-95 from the Dunk-AMP.

RISD art museum is a hidden gem. On corner of Benefit and Waterman.

Can't go wrong on East Side near RISD/ Brown like others said.

I'm out of town so i dont have time for a better answer, and will miss the game too unfortunately.

Every DePaul game should start with the score 25-0 in favor of the Blue Demons just so there's some sort of intrigue.

Bad luck having the Big East shoot around / road show in Omaha along with Pitino visiting, but it was a white out blizzard in Omaha yesterday and everything was shut down. Temps are sub-zero today and I suspect the attendance will be dramatically impacted for the noon start.
