Really impressive performance by the Friars. A lot of teams are going to lose at the AMP, so I don't think this is too telling for Marquette. However, it probably thrusts PC into the NCAA tournament picture more clearly than many might have predicted.

Jumped from 70 to 54 in NET & 54 to 39 in KenPom.

Whoever wins on Saturday BU/PC should be ranked next week.

You can argue that they have taken it up a notch, especially defensively. This is the best defensive team since 2003-04. PC has always had someone to exploit on the defensive end of the floor without a real alternative on the bench. (Bynum/Locke/Reeves)
