It’s going to be a long, long season in Omaha. Ouch. Fear there will be many more.

Ashworth can’t handle pressure. Trey hasn’t looked like himself all year.

Jays don’t even look like an ncaa tourney team let alone a Big East or national contender.

More perplexing than the loss is why Creighton scheduled the game in the first place. It'd be different if this were a MTE, but scheduling a mid tier MWC team on the road is a lose-lose situation. Best to stick to P6s/top non-P6s (Zags, San Diego St, Memphis, etc) and buy games IMO.

Seems like a typical Creighton first weekend loss type of year.

UNLV historically has been one of those exceptions.

Ya, but not in the last decade.

Yeah Jays fans are pretty ticked off it got scheduled but it’s easy to say that now. They had their star miraculously play his first game against us and was a force along with his brother… if that didn’t happen and we won nobody would be questioning it and the fans who are complaining would have loved the trip. Welcome to college basketball. The game did improve UNLVs NET 68 point so it’s only a Q3 los
