Here's the ratings entering this week-
UConn 10
Creighton 13
Marquette 21
Villanova 31
St John's 34
Xavier 45
Butler 62
Seton Hall 66
Providence 68
Georgetown 190
DePaul 288

Villanova got a small free bost, I guess from Maryland and UCLA surprise wins. Important for the conference to get Nova & St. John's in top 30.

yeah and keep the Butler/Seton Hall/Providence group in the top 75.

key going to be can Providence and Butler bounce back I think. And also can league get some of those next 3 teams in the top 30, so home games can count as Q1 games against them.

I'm not surprised to see Xavier ranked as high as they are, I think they're much better than people give them credit for. In fact if you told me that only one from Providence, Butler and Xavier would make the tournament, my money would be on Xavier. It's a shame they lost that home game to Delaware, hope it doesn't come back to haunt them.

Yeah. They have 4 KP non level a/b games(both Georgetown and DePaul games). Win those 4 and at 13.

would need 5 wins from:
@ Creighton
@ UConn
St Johns
Villanova
Creighton
@ Seton Hall
Providence
@ Marquette
@ Butler
Marquette

That would get them to 18-13 with a bonkers SOS. I think that would be in, and maybe with a win in the BET avoiding Dayton even.

Having St. Mary's and Cinci do well and stay Q1 would go a long way.

I think they're to the point where if they get to 18 wins regular season, they're going to make the tourney. They'll be one of the easier decisions for the committee. Sort of similar to Nova actually.

That's a really good way to break it down.

Here's the thing about X. Coach Miller has the guys motivated, fighting wire to wire and gaining some confidence. However, it's been an extremely stressful team to watch all season. We pissed away a 19 pt lead and even went down by 2 vs Butler, but ended up winning by FOURTEEN. That kinda sums up what we have been going through.

Now, as far as getting 12 BE wins....that is too much to ask out of this group. The reality is, this roster is a Sean Miller fueled group of CUSA all conference guys, 4 freshman + Claude. The top of the Big East is loaded with mass experienced and hardened BE talent.
Can they sweep GU and DU? Could and should, but getting 5 wins out of that above gauntlet will be a very tall order.
Wisdom is what you get 5 seconds after you needed it.

Hall at 60 has to be a concern.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.
