I could be wrong but I thought I heard Nova was beaten pretty soundly by Duke. If I'm wrong than maybe one of the Nova guys here could correct me. Either way, it's only exhibition games, but I'd still like to see us coming out on top.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I HEARD REGARDING THE SCRIMMAGE……THE SCRIMMAGE WAS RUN IN SEGMENTS…..VILLANOVA WON SOME..DUKE WON ONE BY A CLOSE MARGIN…..,,,NOVA SCORED MORE TOTAL POINTS…..JUSTIN MOORE AND TYLER BURTON PLAYED WELL FOR VILLANOVA….THIS WAS NO BLOWOUT… VERY COMPETITIVE.,,WITH NOVA EDGING IT OUT………..….

I hope he’s right Chap but does he always scream his head off like that? Kinda hard to take him seriously.

Lots of speculation but this guy is as connected as anyone in college hoops. Sounds like it was very competitive, no blowout. According to his sources Nova "won."

X has apparently lost both Freemantle and Hunter for the entire season, so we have 1 returning player who got any time at all last season (Claude), plus a pretty good group of transfers and incoming freshmen. If Miller can scrape out a top half finish in the league with no experienced bigs at all, he should be the national coach of the year!! It's gonna be small ball for us this year.
