Going to be tough on the road and Justin and Cam are likely out.

Are they protecting themselves for professional careers?

Officially soreness for Justin and eye injury for Cam. But yeah, obviously a ton of risk for those 2 and I wouldn't blame them if they sat out.

It *is* just an NIT game, so I get it. In the first round just last year, Paul Scruggs tore his ACL. What a terrible time to get such an injury, just as you were going to begin workouts for your professional career.

There's no incentive for guys to play. Similar to what we have seen with high level studs skipping meaningless bowl games.

Neptune should look at it as an opportunity to get some young guys minutes they wouldn't otherwise get.

I definitely don't look at the NIT as a meaningless exhibition, but Scruggs injury is a stark reminder from just last year. Justin and Cam are now officially out, and we'll probably see Arch for 40 mins :(

You’re on the team or you’re not. I guess we know the answer for these two.

Burn their jerseys.

Next season is going to be a complete rebuild. Going to be painful watching Georgetown, SJU, and maybe even Providence hire proven coaches, while Nova's hoping and praying that Neptune was not a panic hire. I still can't explain how Neptune is the highest paid coach in the Big East.
