Vermont is a solid team and program. Soon their new basketball arena will be completed-- been undrr construction for 2 years already.

It's great to finally get a tourney win. I'ts been since my freshman year (2013 NCAA tournament), which was an amazing year. Hoping Tyler's thumb isn't anything serious.

Kam Jones managed just a single point in the first half against Vermont. Staff encouragement from the Marquette bench during an early second-half timeout to get Kam going.

It all just clicked for Jones from there.

Jones scored 18 of his 19 points in one stretch of the second half. Kam Jones, I thought scored 18 in a row for Marquette. Don't remember.
