Just for informational purposes, here is the list if 64 college hoops pollsters for the Associated Press:

Basketball Pollsters at College Poll Tracker

At the linked site, if you click on the pollsters' names, it will show you their current picks and will emphasize outlier picks and all. Pretty cool site. Enjoy.

I broke the pollsters down by region. Some overlap so place them different if you'd like...

Pacific Coast area - 6 pollsters.
Mountain West area - 9 pollsters.
Big 12 area - 4 pollsters.
SEC area - 12 pollsters.
ACC area - 11 pollsters.
Big Ten area - 10 pollsters.
Northeast area - 12 pollsters.

Here is the list by regions and cities, and local college if it's applicable and not obvious:

Pacific Coast area (6):
- Honolulu.
- Eugene (Oregon).
- San Jose.
- Los Angeles.
- San Diego.
- Tuscon.

Mountain West area (9)
- Spokane.
- Boise.
- Nampa (southern Idaho).
- Reno.
- Lee (Montana).
- Salt Lake City.
- Denver.
- Albuquerque.
- El Paso.

Big 12 area (4):
- Waco (Baylor).
- Austin.
- Tulsa.
- Kansas City.

SEC area (12):
- St Louis.
- Memphis.
- Little Rock.
- Baton Rouge.
- Baton Rouge again.
- Oxford MS (Ole Miss).
- Birmingham.
- Nashville.
- Tuscaloosa.
- Atlanta.
- Gainesville (Florida).
- Columbia (SC).

ACC area (11):
- Orlando.
- Jacksonville.
- Winston-Salem (Wake).
- Durham (Duke).
- Raleigh.
- Richmond.
- Charlottesville.
- Roanoke.
- Louisville.
- Morgantown.
- Pittsburgh.

Big Ten area (10):
- Lincoln NE.
- Des Moines.
- St Paul.
- Milwaukee.
- Chicago.
- Champaign (Illinois).
- Ann Arbor.
- Indianapolis.
- Dayton.
- Cleveland.

Northeast (12).
- Washington.
- Primos PA (Phila).
- Philadelphia.
- Somerville NJ.
- Syracuse.
- Long Island NY.
- NY City.
- NY City again.
- New Haven.
- Bristol CT.
- Providence.
- Boston.
.
Looks like the Pacific Coast gets hosed a bit, with only 6 pollsters. California only has 3 pollsters. Baton Rouge has 2 pollsters on its own. New England has 4, but one is Vitale. The South has 27, and combined with the Mountain West has 56% of the voters.

I've always wondered: why would a coach join the coaches poll? seems like an extra thing to do each week and you will be, even if you try, biased every week based on who you have played, beat, and lost too. Its lose, lose.

Anyway we can start a movement for the poll voters to take a look at Providence? Seriously.
