Posted: Tue Dec 07, 2021 11:32 amTibial plateau fracture. Out 6-8 weeks. Great news it wasn't an ACL/MCL/meniscus. She should fully recover, and it shouldn't affect her career at UCONN or beyond.

UConn women's basketball star Paige Bueckers suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee on Monday and will miss the 2022-23 season, the school announced Wednesday.
Bueckers injured her knee in a pickup basketball game, according to the school's release, and an MRI later that evening confirmed the ACL tear. The release did not say where the junior guard from Hopkins, Minnesota, was playing when the injury occurred. It was the same knee she injured last year, causing her to miss significant time.

Posted: Wed Aug 03, 2022 9:16 pmBad for Paige, UConn and the BE. She deserves a better fate and hopefully will come back stronger. If I remember correctly, the Huskies still have a lot of talent, but this is a big loss!
