I changed the title of this thread cuz my heart skipped a beat thinking we had lost him. A living legend. FYI, like Louie, i also come from a line of Italian immigrant stonemasons.

Thanks Billyjack. So sorry for the scare! Lou reminds me of so many of my Italian relatives. Such a wonderful guy.

Only met Looie once at an Italian restaurant across the street from Carnesecca Arena before a game 2-3 yrs ago. I'm so thankful for that moment I will always cherish. This sounds dramatic but it really is how it happened: I went inside the restaurant with a friend and when I looked back my friend was gone. Confused, I turned around and noticed he was holding the door for someone. I waited to see who was coming through and it was Looie himself. He got dropped off directly in front of the restaurant by someone in a glitzy black Mercedes. Walked in with his cane and everyone all but bowing before him. I was just standing there kind of star struck and he makes direct eye contact with me and says, "Hey, I love your jacket!" (I had a throwback SJ jacket on). He went on to say, "They removed the indian logo because you know you can't do that these days but I always liked that one!" and continued past me to his table. Just a really cool moment I'll never forget. The guy is so with it for his age it's kind of scary!
