Agreed Gumby. Nice to see Daniels play well again. Samuels was huge, Slater played very well and Bryan Antoine sighting!

Meltdown? Who is melting down? Our tourney hopes were already over before the game and we knew we weren't getting Nova again. At this point we have to be concerned about making the NIT. Technically, we are way off the bubble now and my expectation was making the bubble at least for this to be a good year. But I still give the team credit for turning what looked like a basement team into a mediocre one with flashes of good. I still want to see what CMA can do and think he's the guy for a while...but there's zero doubt our talent is poor compared to other teams. Yes, we found some diamonds in the rough like Champ, Posh...but beyond them, are you comfortable with anyone else? Moore is a great dump and dunk guy, but he plays poor defense and does not really want to be seen as a rim defender. Cole has a wet jumper some games, but he looks like a baby giraffe whenever he tries to drive and has the worst hands I've ever seen at D1 level. Bottom line is we need a Nate Watson type center and a pure shooter who can still play defense if we want to seriously make the tourney. If we don't get that soon, this is the best we will be. NIT ish maybe bubble.

Hoyas consistently inconsistent. New we were due for a poor shooting night. If we had managed to win last night I guarantee we would have lost @ Depaul on Saturday.

Kudos to Uconn they jumped on us out of the gate and we didn't handle the pressure well. We recovered and evened it up, but just didn't have it last night. Beat us up on the boards and were on the floor for every loose ball.

Disappointed that the final score makes it look worse than it was. Game was close. Also disappointed because I think we did a great job defending Bouknight in the half court besides those two back screens for alley oops, but one on one with the ball in his hands we did a great job keeping him out of the lane. But those 8 points on dunks 2 fast break and 2 back screens took away a great defensive job on him.

Chap if we can get BA going...it’s like a stud Free Agent acquisition at the trading deadline that gives a team a boost down the stretch and for the post season. I think Daniels is finally starting to shake off Covid (or at least I hope)
