Is it just me or does it look like the Big East is disproportionately affected by this compared to other major conferences?

Creighton is out of the Bad Boy Mowers Crossover Classic in South Dakota following multiple positive COVID-19 test results within the program, per the school. Fifth school to withdraw from the event since it was originally set.

Approaching half the league having to pause for COVID at some point, right?

Am I missing anyone?

We returned to practice today. Our 11/25 (Central CT) & 11/27 (Hartford) games are still on the schedule (at least for now...)

The Big East has an uphill climb, especially when the programs shut down even if a positive test isn’t a student-athlete or a coach (directly within the team). Not all conferences are following the same protocol, so it’s not surprising we are shutting down more. I don’t agree with it, but it is the decision that had been made. It is what it is.

If we committed to a higher standard, we should have, IMO, looked to do a bubble beginning in January, which is still possible. If we get another program shut down, momentum may get stronger.
