That’s awesome. Who / when do they play. Man, I hope it’s against Eric Devendork and The Cuse Alums. Did they get some kind of work release program for the Cuse guys?

They play Sideline Cancer, who upset Overseas Elite on a 3 ball that put them to the elam target number. Overseas had won 4 of the 6 tournaments held so far. The roster of Sideline Cancer doesn't appear to have a common bond (they are from many different schools and do not have even 2 players that went to same college).
Sideline Cancer also beat your "beloved" Syracuse alum in the quarters.

If TBT was anything like March could have been, all I can say is wow. The top-3 seeds all got upset at various points, and the 22-seed is in the championship game.

Former Muskie, Remy Abell, actually plays for Sideline Cancer and has been in sort of a glue guy role for them. He was guarding Joe Johnson for much of the game, yesterday, which wasn’t surprising since he was a really good defensive player for X after transferring in from IU.

Victory for the MU Alums. Apparently Travis Deiner with a big 3 at the end. Well done men.

Unbelievable game and incredible finish. Cinematic-style ending with Diener hitting the game-clincher. Incredible group of alumni and former players (with a few friendships/associations thrown in), along with outstanding coaching by Joe Chapman.
In a year where so much has been taken away, the TBT was a small step forward. Very appreciative to all those involved that made it happen, as well as the joy it has brought the MU community. Very cool to see Crean and Buzz get involved with it as well.
Side note - it's been too long since MU has had a big postseason win like that. Hoping we can break through the ceiling next year, in what ever form a potential season can look like.

Seriously though. Never realized how spoiled I was during my years at MU.
There was a moment watching those guys were j realized just how good those Buzz and Crean teams were. Outside of Markus and Henry I don't think there's been a player between 2014 to now that couldve held their own on those old teams.

Sadly Wojo will never come close to Crean or Buzz. And alot of those guys were from in state, Wojo doesn't even bother with Wisconsin kids or makes them transfer.
