We're nearing the one year anniversary of this gem, (6/22/19, as UCONN's escape from the AAC was announced), tweeted by someone named George Basile:

"Also, they (meaning UCONN) absolutely left because the AAC recruiting is gonna overtake the Big East soon because our recruiting classes are better (see eg. Memphis/Houston/Wichita)."

Editorial comments to this tweet: It started with "also" so that means there's more stupid out there preceding this tweet. Second, and this is nitpicky, but he used "because" twice in the same sentence. Are we thinking Memphis grad?

How about every word Doug Gottlieb uttered On CBS radio about the Big East and Villanova for five years from 2013 till April 2017, when he got a job at Fox Sports and immediately started babbling out of the opposite side of his pencil neck?
