I know this is the hoops portion but I'm not sure if anyone will see it elsewhere. The Big East announced that Fall Sports will be split into divisions. Volleyball, Men's Soccer and Women's Soccer will be East and West. East being Johnnies, Nova, Hoyas, The Hall, UConn and Providence. Marquette, X, Butler, DePaul and the Jays make up the West. The conference schedule will be double round robin within the divisions. The East is going to be crazy. For Field Hockey, it will be North and South. UConn, Qunnipiac, Providence and Temple in the North and Hoyas, Nova, ODU and Liberty in the South. Interesting.

Damn shame that y'all Midwestern folk gonna miss out on our new soccer stadium.

Damn, I was hoping to get UCONN at Morrison Stadium (below) to avenge the 2002 National Championship game. Although to be honest we haven't been all that great in big games there in Omaha. Let's keep the College Cup in the Big East!!

That is a very very nice stadium! I think they should put up nets though. Just a thought.

Smart move. Nice to see the Big East being proactive.

Also, the Big East really should have made you guys switch back to the old logo as part of the deal - it was so much better!

By old I mean 80s/90s version - though early 2000s would be acceptable as well.

Obviously they can’t do this for men’s basketball, but is it impossible to think they could for women’s hoops?
