So looks like we will have 3 top 3 seeds and 3-4 more in the 6+ region.
At a minimum, I am hoping for:
3+ in the sweet 16
1 in the final four

3 sweet 16s and 1 elite 8 should be the expectation. Zegarowski playing or not is a big factor for us.

.
The Omaha World-Herald is reporting that Marcus Zegarowski will miss the entire Big East Tournament. Most unfortunate for the Blue Jays and Big East.

It's close on having 3 top 3 seeds- Seton Hall is real close on the 3 seed. But that's close...
3-4 more in the 6+ region? There's realistically a huge chance that Xavier and Marquette will be going to Dayton for the first four. Best case for both of them is probably 10 seeds. The Butler/Providence loser, especially if it's Providence will be a 7 seed tops, if not 8. So really don't see at all your 2nd half of the statement...

In the bracket matrix, currently:
Nova and Creighton are 2's
Seton Hall is a 3
Butler is a 5
Providence is a 8
Marquette is a 9
Xavier is a 10
So that is 3 in the top 3 seed lines
And 4 more that are actually 5+

I'd say that's semantics. I would have said more 5 or worse seeds rather than 5+. 5+ makes it seem like they are better than 5 but not top 3.
Oh, Xavier is a 11 in the Matrix currently. 4th team in.

7 out of 10 if it happens.
That is just damn impressive.

Lets match the 1995 final four. Nova, Hall and Creighton with a all Big East final.

When I list them as 5,8,9 and 10...I did that so you wouldn't be confused. Hard to imagine someone thinking 9 is better than 5, but not top 3.

Think Xavier is going to need some help to get in. in Bracketville, the #1 bracketologist, Xavier is the last team in right now. Only 2 teams above them I think Xavier would pass- Texas if they lose to Texas Tech, and UCLA, if they lose to Cal...
Meanwhile- think Xavier gets passed by-
Richmond- if they beat Rhode Island on Saturday
Wichita- if they beat UConn on Friday
Mississippi St- if they beat Florida on Friday
Also, Cincy- if they beat Wichita or UConn on Saturday
