So sorry to hear of Kobe's passing.

NBA correctly canceling games today. ---> EDIT, no games were canceled from what i later saw (thx MUPanther)

even worse his 13 yr old daughter was in the crash along with one of her teammates- they were in the helicopter to go to a tournament.

saw a picture from the tournament where they told everyone and it's so haunting. I've seen that court set up 10000 times just about thru the years coaching youth basketball.

Goes from tragic to horrifying with his daughter and her teammate on there! Talk about cutting life too short! Got nothing else...

for sure. And an underrated part of this is the impact that it's going to have on the other 8-10 girls that he was coaching on that team.

There were reports earlier today, i think in a Keith Olbermann tweet thread, that said games were canceled for today. But later on my kids had the Celtics-Pelicans on, so that was a bad report. I'll fix my earlier post.

I think the thing that was hardest to see just about was a title of a page that had 2006-2020 for his daughter. That was really hard to see it expressed quite like that.
