Fighting like cats and dogs... that's what I expect tonight. Rock fight. Two mentally strong programs seeing who can make a stop or get a late bucket. I expect a one-possession type game.

huge game for Marquette tonight. They had 2 games all conference season non KP level a or b games. Already lost the 1st one to Providence.

Just hoping for a close game. Don't doubt that Butler will try hard, just don't think they'll hit enough shots to keep pace with Nova. Very easily could be sub .500 after this week.

Observation: In Butler's first 16 games, the Bulldogs' defense allowed more than 62 points on only one occasion - in a 68-67 win over Stanford.

In Butler's last 3 games, the Bulldogs have given up 78 points, 79 points, and 76 points, and have lost all three games.

A week or two I was vilified for saying I didn’t think that Butler was a Top 5 team / 1 seed in NCAA. I wasn’t trying to be a jerk, but it wasn’t that hard to see.
