I don't want to create a realignment thread or necro an old topic, so I'll ask a hypothetical question here for those who want to chime in. If Dayton wins the NCAAT this year, how close are they from Val announcing them as a Big East member? This is supposed to be a wide open year to win the title...

I'd stake a lot of a lot of money that Dayton's out before the FF so we won't need to worry about that

I'd take the Big East field -1000 of a championship before a Dayton final four. Seriously, come on man. Are they good, yes. Will they win the title, that takes a ton of luck and usually 2-3 NBA players.
