You have been adamant that the deal is done with 12 teams and the last two (Dayton and St. L) will be filling the conference in 2014-15. You have also claimed all C7 presidents are in agreement with the teams to be added. However, I have sources saying St. L may join as early as next year due to their most recent success and Dayton is still iffy. Do you still stand by your comments or have you heard anything that has changed?

SLU for sure ----next year. Richmond for an even 6 east/6 midwest split. Sorry Dayton

Don't be shocked if VCU ends up being team #12 with SLU.

While that wouldn't be a surprise, are you just guessing or do you have a solid reason to believe so? I know the VCU folk think the boat has sailed, but it's still just rumors we're basing everything off of. If they had significant support at any point, I doubt it just vanished. Until I hear the 12 teams announced, I have a hard time believing they're not in play, I don't buy the notion of a whole private only thing as a mandate.

If one just appears out of nowhere it's going to be Richmond. Georgetown wants them so they'll end up getting them

That's just it, do we really know Georgetown wants them? I agree with you. Based on what's around I'm expecting Richmond before VCU (and I don't think it's a big deal), but VCU just wouldn't surprise me if announced.

We do know this. Georgetown is backing Richmond and Nova is supporting this as well.

VCU fans seemed convinced Fox wants them, do you know if that's true?

That, I have no idea. Certainly possible, but I haven't heard a thing.
