OUT:
*Joseph Chartouny
*Matt Heldt

MAYBE:
*Markus Howard

BACK:
*Sam Hauser
*Joey Hauser
*Ed Morrow
*Sacar Anim
*Theo John
*Brendan Bailey

IN:
*Koby McEwen (Utah St transfer)
*Dexter Akanno

Marquette was a good team this year despite the bad ending to the season. Whether Howard is back or not, I think they'll be a pretty good team. If he returns, they'll be amongst the preseason favorites and if not, middle-of-the-pack. Not sure what to think about Wojo. He ain't bad but he could do better.

These reviews are popping up just a bit too fast for me. C'mon SHU.

Need to add Greg Elliott to the list. He redshirted after hand surgery. Athletic 6’3” guard who will be a solid contributor. He and McEwen will be significant upgrades over Chartouny as well as giving MU good guard depth.

Wojo has to go. I don't know what the buyout is, but you need to cut your losses and move on.

Seton Hall and Xavier will be the favorites to win BE now that Marquette is imploding.

Actually Nova will be the pick, followed by Creighton. ;)

Not sure what I think about this roster. If anything, it'll be improved defensively.

While the loss of the Hausers is obviously significant, looking at the starters and backups, there is still a lot of talent remaining. I wouldn't bury Marquette just yet. Maybe not top 25, but certainly NCAA tournament talent. While not as good on offense, they should be improved on defense, as was noted above. If Wojo can pick up a quality grad transfer, who knows!
