I would probably have Phil Booth on the first team. And no Heron?

J. Quinerly and David Duke actually are co-Frosh of the Year. Also interestingly Butler got (1) first place vote (I'm guessing this is from Jay W.) and so did Marq. Not that it's a bad vote--Marq. certainly could win the league this year--but I am indeed curious as to who might have cast that one... Maybe Big Mac gave the vote to Gtmo. Hmmm...

I generally find it interesting to look at the tiers implied by preseason predictions.

AP Preseason Top 25 Poll – Associated Press – October 22, 2018
9. Villanova (1,085 votes)

Others with votes:
Marquette (124 votes)
Butler (6)
St. John's (3)
Xavier (2)
Providence (2)

Not surprised Creighton is #9 but I see us finishing 5-8. We have alot of talent albeit young. If Krampelj plays the whole year, we will be higher than 9th. Also, Froling will be compete for Big East freshman of the year. He's very skilled 7 footer who will get big minutes for us.

Possible I guess that it was voted on before he was declared eligible.

The coaches realize what a player Diallo is going to be this year.

That wasn't a slight intended at anyone on the first team. Booth scored 20+ in a national title game as I recall. If that player is healthy all year, I'll bet he is first team BE.

I know that, the people that it was meant for know who they are.

If Creighton's 9th then the Big East is getting 9 teams in the dance.
