The Retrievers are going to open Marquette’s new home (the Milwaukee Bucks new arena, the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center) on Nov. 6. And they are looking for one more road, one-way (no return) high-profile game.
UMBC opening our new arena. Was hoping for a bigger, high-profile, game (like ND) to open the stadium.

I would guess Marquette needs to open the season on the 6th and outside something like that champions classic- most power conference teams will schedule a cupcake on the 6th- and then have a tougher game the Friday that they normally open up the season with.
Marquette does need to beef up the schedule. Not sure what Wisconsin will be like this year so can't really count on that(plus it's home)- and the 2 Barclay's games- with Gavitt game- for a team looking to make the tourney- need a lot more meat on that bone.

Putting a negative spin on something related to a Big East team? That's so out of character for you.

So BC, URI, UMASS, Wichita State, Michigan/S. Carolina and apparently one more top 50ish opponent as a home game.
