It'll be interesting to see if he tests the NBA draft process this year. The run that turned the game around in the 2nd half- that sure looked like an NBA prospect. He wouldn't be the first guy to parlay an NCAA run into NBA draft position. Looked a bit like a Draymond Green IMO. And we know what he's done in the pros.

Nova now with a chance if they win it all to make a claim at being the team of the decade. They would definitely be in contention after this year if they win it all. Would have 2 titles, 2 final 4's in the decade. It's a shame that the years were up 1 where the decade wasn't 2009-18, as Nova would have that other final 4 appearance added.
It's crazy that in this decade- 2009-18- there would have been 10 champs. Kentucky, Louisville, and then 4 teams with 2 each. UNC, Duke, UConn, and Villanova.
Also what is really crazy now is the last 21 years, since 1997 tournament when Arizona won- only 1 team outside the eastern time zone has won the championship(Kansas in 2008). In fact, since Marquette won in 1977, there's only been 6 champions outside the eastern time zone. Kansas twice, UNLV, Arkansas, UCLA, and Arizona.
