If Villanova loses its next game or if Villanova wins out to gain a NC, the measure of the BE will be very different for this season. It’s simply not valid to lump a partial result in with the rest and treat it the same.

Yeah, and don't forget it's amplified 2X in Stever's example since the 5 year result was doubled to match the 90s BE record. We still gotta do a better job of sending more teams to the 2nd weekend, though.
