Like many X fans, I was devastated when Mack decided to leave. Oh no, not another good coach leaving us! But although we lost another very good (great?) coach, the Xavier program has continued to thrive through previous changes, and maybe we just made another inspired hire. Travis Steele has Marshall and Goodin and 3 other solid rotation guys returning, plus he quickly landed 4 quality transfers and two pretty impressive looking assistants, and then there are 3 intriguing Freshmen.
So X is gonna be fun to watch next year. If team chemistry remains intact despite all the new pieces, I don't think we'll fall too far. Way too early prediction: X is still a top 25 team.
