Missed opportunity for the Jays. Would be facing UMBC with the 4 seed gone and the weakest 2 seed left in the tourney remaining in their bracket. That’s how unexpected FF runs are built.

The only thing I would've loved more if it was my beloved Stony Brook (from the same league) that actually pulled the upset but I'm so happy Virginia is out. They have always been a choke act and always will be

well DePaul liked tonight- they were the last 1 seed to lose their 1st NCAA tournament team- in 1982- to Boston College.

My only regret about the Virginia loss is that it opens a path for Mr. Slime and his Kentucky Wildcats to the Final Four. Arizona is gone from that half of the region as well as Virginia, so he’ll likely have a cake walk to the Elite 8 where Kentucky will likely meet the winner of a Cincinnati-Tennessee game, neither of whom inspire confidence as a stopper.

Hard to call it a choke when they got blown out by 20. They just didn’t have it that day.
