The committee horrifically disrespected our league this year. Sure, we got 2 one seeds but the other 4 teams got screwed.

So, Seton Hall and Providence will be playing true road games in the 2nd round. That stinks.

It's an improvement from when we were getting 1st round road games.

that is what happens when you are in 8-10 seed land.

The new quad rules really hurt the Big East I think... Big East had a whopping 4 teams in the 31-50 range. Last year, those games at home are Q1. This year Q2...

for the 8-10's-
Seton Hall 3-0 in those other 3 games
Creighton 3-0 in those other 3 games
Providence 2-1 in those other 3 games
Butler 2-1 in those other 3 games

Then these were replaced in conference play by road games @ Marquette. Seton Hall and Creighton lost those games while Butler and Providence won those.

Get anyone's quick reaction to something here, should you care to opine on it: Selection Sunday, the TBS selection show, all the advertising cranking up for March Madness - who here still seriously believes that the P5 would ever break away from this deal?

And we now return you to Charles Barkley and company...

Not saying I'm disagreeing with Butler's 10 seed, but I do think it's interesting to look at Pomeroy and see that Butler is the most underseeded team according to the Pomeroy rankings. Actually, Butler, Creighton and SHall would all be considered under seeded based on their pomeroy rankings.

At the same time, Xavier is overseeded according to Pomeroy.

I won a lot of money in NCAA pools this season thanks to Pomeroy, I tend to think he has a better grip on things than the RPI, BPI and other predictive rankings, etc.

Interesting, since X beat all those teams twice. Guess you didn't bet the Pomeroy on those games.

I think St Mary's is the most underseeded according to Pomeroy.

He never said any of them had better Kempom ratings than X or should be seeded higher than X, so that's totally irrelevant.

I like most of the BE matchups in the first round and think it's crazy to be worried about the second round.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.
