A team without a ton of depth that is on a back to back for the first time all year playing a superior talent team tells me it's going to take an off night by X or a huge night from 2 key Friar contributors to result in a win.

Expect a huge night from 2 key Friar contributors. 8-)

Started a little ugly, but Friars fought back and X seems like they are a little shocked to be in overtime!

Didn't see that coming. Congrats PC.

Nice win PC. Guess a top 5 game on a Saturday night at MSG was just not meant to be.

All of X's practice blowing big leads this year paid off tonight. Congrats Friars!

That was a hell of a comeback. Providence hit some tough shots to make it possible, especially Cartwright, while Xavier couldn't find the bottom of the net (including the layup at the end of regulation, wow). Such a tough team.

Providence deserved the win. Congrats to them, and I hope they have a good long run the rest of the postseason.

It should, but do you really want to be on the 8-9 line? The other question is, will this cost X a 1 seed.
