I think there are a lot of folks who think it's an automatic on here. And I really don't see it close to being automatic by any stretch. I think at the very best it's a 50/50 proposition, and realistically I think it's probably closer to a 10-20% chance of happening. I think what is more likely is what the Big 12 proposed, where if a coach leaves, then you can leave freely. So like this year- anyone from Xavier would have been allowed to leave since their coach left.

Good get Georgetown. Any chance this causes McClung to decommit? He is the 43rd ranked PG vs Akinjo who is the 17th ranked PG.

Big day for the Hoyas. They also grab 7-ft 245 lb. NCST transfer Omer Yurtseven. He averaged 13.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game as a sophomore. He is a sit-one, play-two player. Go get 'em, Ewing!

Nah they can play together. I expect them both to make up the starting back court.

I think starting line up looks like:

Akinjo, Mcclung, Pickett, Govan. PF is TBD: Could be derrickson if he pulls a DSR and comes back despite saying he was going to hire an agent(still no official word of that happening) or could be LeBalnc, or Walker, or maybe Yurt if the new rule gets in place in time. Or we could go small and start a third guard either Mosely or Blair and move pcikett to PF. Could be Mourning or Johnson too, plenty of options at PF.

Great gets for Georgetown. Patrick proving what most thought--- that he would be a very good recruiter. I was impressed with the way he handled his team last year and with the recruiting, Georgetown appears to be on the way back. Whether they can reach the level they were at when JT was coach remains to be seen, but all signs are very positive!
