That was a hell of a game! When they got the and one with 11 to go I though that might be the nail in our coffin! Wideman came though though! That was two teams giving it their all and I think if there was just a hair more time to set up a play Seton Hall wins it... Good luck in the NCAA's!

That was a hell of a finish. I was waiting for Powell's three to go in, just to finish that craziness.

Bill Marsh wrote:Seton Hall and Creighton are both pretty banged up, so I’m seeing Butler and Providence as the winners in these 2 games. Marquette didn’t look last night like they’ll be a threat to Villanova. As long as Ponds is healthy, St John’s is a threat to upset Xavier. I expect X to pull it out, but this could be another exciting game.

The second half was proof positive that you need a deep bench. The Red Storm stalled as they lost all their energy.

But, if you just consider the first half, it was very exciting. The refs swallowed the whistle and 2 squads balled it for an honest 20 minutes. Great hoops!

Yes, great first half, Johnnies faded in the 2nd half. Xavier looked awesome the further the game progressed.
