Was it Owens? After watching him last night, and a few other times this season, he seems to be come unhinged at times.

There sure is some good defense being played out on the floor in this Providence-Creighton game. Both teams deserve a lot of credit for a hard fought game.

I'm sure Kaiser was the only one "trash talking" the entire game! I also don't recall any other players in the Big East trying to get into someone else's locker room because they couldn't handle trash talk during a game. Take the loss, get dressed and go home. That goes for any team that loses.

You mean 7 years ago, but who's counting. I don't recall commenting on that situation and I'm not sure how it relates to players in the game today that were in middle or high school at the time of that game. The one similarity I do recall from that game to today's game is that Xavier won by more than 20 points. I give St. Johns credit, at least they didn't sucker punch any Xavier players like UC did.

On camera, you could see Gates make some snide remark to Ahmed when he was already pissed and being held back by an SJU guy. And yeah, whatever he said got Ahmed worked up again beyond how upset he was already. However, Ahmed was the one who looked like the fool out of all that resulted, to the point that Xavier players were laughing at how ridiculous he was being. Everyone else was either separating groups or just jawing back and forth a bit, but then there was Ahmed making an ass of himself.

I'm skeptical that SJU players tried to get into the other locker room. I know that some SJU players started jawing some more underneath MSG when members of the two teams crossed paths, but that interaction only happened because of how close the locker rooms are. I'm willing to bet something with that non-issue got blown out of proportion
