St John’s played very well tonight. Balanced scoring, 5 players in double figures. They’ve broken the ice and have gotten over first game tournament jitters. If they get out to an early lead tomorrow, X will be facing a challenge.

3 top5 wins would be pretty sweet for the 9th place team, also you gotta think that would get us in the NIT.
After an 0-11 B.E. start, I'll take it.

Yesterday, attendance at ACC Tourny in Brooklyn was just over 10,000 with Syracuse playing. St. John’s Georgetown had over 16,000 tonight - with a snow storm outside the building. Ha ha.

What was the B1G tournament attendance?

NYC is still and always will be B.E. country.

I generally hate people who complain about officiating but this is truly trash

Just got back. Great night of ball. Johnie fans packed the house tonight. Marquette almost blew it. These guys have no D. I'll be there tomorrow for the night session. They'll need all the luck in the world to beat Nova

But hey Syracuse got blown out in Brooklyn so who knows if MU can squeeze into the field of 68

Wow!....That's friggin awesome, especially for a first round game. St. Johns and Georgetown carry national, prominent brands/name recognition, and are deeply associated/conjoined with The Big East Conference. This has been stated ad nauseum, but these two teams consistently winning (competing for regular season and conference championships/NCAA runs) will bolster this conference's credibility, brand, and recognition to not just the avid fan, but the common, mainstream populace.

I can only imagine if that game was for the Conference Championship. :o

DePaul has been playing great here at the end of the year. They look like a completely different team compared to November and especially compared to last year. They look to be playing as a unit. I happened to be at the Dunk last month for their blowout win, which could be a sign of good things next year.

Big losses are McCallum and Maric. Reed though looks good, and he can replace Maric. And McCallum had problems on D. Cain and Strus return for their senior years.
